Have you ever done what this born again watchman normally does?

I watch how many people use their smartphones each day.

As they walk, talk, eat, rest, work, or commute.

At least a third are hooked on their phones.

It's even become a game for me.

When a person walks slowly in the middle of the sidewalk, or an overpass, I tell myself most likely they're looking at their phones.

True enough, I'm right.

In my city, there was once a ban against people doing that.

They were asked to please go to the side of the street, or not look at their phones as they cross the street, or walk up and down the stairs.

Wishful thinking that.

The policy didn't last very long.

Eyes are perpetually glued to their smartphones.

Young people's ears are normally plugged with their headsets.

They wouldn't want to miss out on events, or their friends.

And yes, even school work.

Some have large tablets for school, apart from the usual laptops.

And I think to myself, are kids getting "dumbed" out of creative thinking?

Have they relied so much on tech?

Are they losing out on the essentials of life?

Like, interacting with real people face-to-face?

Now, it's screen to screen.

Seems artificial, but according to others, necessary.

Especially if their folks are abroad, or elsewhere.

Thank GOD, there seems to be a counter-movement going on, too.

Unless they're addicted users themselves.

But I did "see" an electronic "armageddon".

I was "shown" that over 20 years ago, too.

SPIRIT helps me "see".

Because I'm His faithful student.

Thank GOD, my brain's wired differently.

As people go high tech, I purposely go low tech.

I'm not slave to machines.

I serve GOD alone.

 2 Peter 2:1

2 But there were false prophets also among the people, 

even as there shall be false teachers among you, 

who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, 

even denying the Lord that bought them, 

and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Amazing how the HOLY SPIRIT knows my heart.

I was looking for a verse to describe the Taylor Swift phenomenon.

He led me to the PERFECT verse above.

With the PERFECT phrase:

"swift destruction"

That phrase practically created this article.

No doubt about it, Swift's got talent.

She's got a following.

Young people go nuts at her concerts.

Creating billionaire status in her.

But this we must tell you --

Be not too swift to adore Taylor Swift.

That will bring "swift destruction".

Only GOD deserves worship.

A warrior of the SPIRIT looks at her, with a careful eye.

Watching, and detecting signs, of undue influence upon the young.

She says she's a "Christian".

But her words, and acts, speak differently.

We are all about the WORD -- GOD's WORD.

And this young lady's life, and lyrics, don't reflect such.

As you shall see from this video.

There are idols that "speak".

Only because people have idolized them.

By themselves, they cannot have power over you.

Unless you allow them to influence you.

Please don't be such.

Save your soul from idolatry.

Don't be a "Swiftie".

Only GOD deserves worship.

May people wake up on time.

May she take the path of holiness.

May she look upon her body as the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

May she flee fornication.

May we all do.

Only GOD's WORD is eternal.

Never again should there be any question about GOD's creation.

GOD is really clear about His creation.

If you are confused about who, and what you are, it's time to turn to Scripture, and not to the world.
