1 Timothy 4:12
King James Version
12 Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity,
in spirit, in faith, in purity.
You're the generations after us.
We're the baby boomers.
Our time is past; yours has just begun.
We care what happens to you.
How shall we equip you?
That you may survive these chaotic times?
And all that have been prophesied.
As workman, I'm here to share Scripture with you.
SPIRIT and I have much to tell you.
Do you know which generation you are?
We've written a post on generations recently.
Know which generation describes you:
"Researchers and popular media often use the mid-1960s as its starting birth years and the late 1970s as its ending birth years, with the generation being generally defined as people born from 1965 to 1980.[1] By this definition and U.S. Census data, there are 65.2 million Gen Xers[2] in the United States as of 2019.
As children in the 1970s and 1980s, a time of shifting societal values, Gen Xers were sometimes called the "latchkey generation", which stems from their returning as children from school to an empty home and needing to use a key to let themselves in. This was a result of what is now called free-range parenting, plus increasing divorce rates, and increased maternal participation in the workforce prior to widespread availability of childcare options outside the home."
"Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years, with the generation typically being defined as people born from 1981 to 1996.
As the first generation to grow up with the Internet, Millennials have also been described as the first global generation.[5] The generation is generally marked by elevated usage of and familiarity with the Internet, mobile devices, and social media.[6] The term "digital natives", which is now also applied to successive generations, was originally coined to describe this generation."
"Researchers and popular media use the mid-to-late 1990s as starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years.
As the first social generation to have grown up with access to the Internet and portable digital technology from a young age, members of Generation Z, even if not necessarily digitally literate, have been dubbed "digital natives".[6][7][8][9] Moreover, the negative effects of screen time are most pronounced in adolescents, as compared to younger children.[10] Compared to previous generations, members of Generation Z tend to live more slowly than their predecessors when they were their age,[11][12] have lower rates of teenage pregnancies, and consume alcohol (but not necessarily other psychoactive drugs) less often."
"Researchers and popular media use the early 2010s as starting birth years to the mid-2020s as ending birth years (see § Date and age range definitions). Named after alpha, the first letter in the Greek alphabet, Generation Alpha is the first to be born entirely in the 21st century and the third millennium.
Generation Alpha has been born at a time of falling fertility rates across much of the world,[6][7] and experienced the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic as young children. For those with access, children's entertainment has been increasingly dominated by electronic technology, social networks, and streaming services, with interest in traditional television concurrently falling. Changes in the use of technology in classrooms and other aspects of life have had a significant effect on how this generation has experienced early learning compared to previous generations. Studies have suggested that health problems related to screen time, allergies, and obesity became increasingly prevalent in the late 2010s."
Each generation has its own challenges.
How to survive it all?
TURN to JESUS.
Hebrews 12:2
King James Version
2 Looking unto Jesus
the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down
at the right hand of the throne of God.
Only JESUS can give you ALL the help you need.
Without JESUS we can do nothing.
John 15:5
King James Version
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.
Only JESUS knows GOD's will.
To survive in this world, you must know that will.
And it is surely NOT the world's will.
Romans 12:1-2
King James Version
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God.
You must also honor your father, and mother.
It's a decree from GOD.
Exodus 20:12
King James Version
12 Honour thy father and thy mother:
that thy days may be long upon the land
which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
King David wrote in his psalms:
Psalm 119:9-16
King James Version
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared
all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts,
and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes:
I will not forget thy word.
What is that "word"?
It's the WORD of GOD.
From which we all must live.
To understand all these, you must be of the SPIRIT.
The only way is to be born again.
Pray to be one, for it is the most marvelous thing in the world!.
JESUS commanded we be born again:
King James Version
3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,
and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Lastly, a BLESSING for you, from Scripture.
That you may know, and have the life GOD predestined you for:
Numbers 6:24-26
King James Version
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee,
and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee,
and give thee peace.
